Social Distancing On Entry and Exit to School
7 October 2020 (by admin)
Could we please remind all parents / carers to where possible maintain social distancing on our school site.
We have had some concerns raised today that congestion caused by queuing on the entry to school has caused issues around social distancing.
Our school site is extremely small given the number of pupils we have and it has been very difficult to put in a staggered start and finish times that reduces congestion – generally this has worked well but we must remind parents / carers to stick to these times as much as possible in order to reduce congestion.
We must also ask that only one parent / carer attends the school site to either drop off or collect pupils in order to reduce congestion and maintain social distancing.
Just a reminder that:
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 pupils start school at 8.50am with the gate open to the playground at 8.40am.
Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils start school at 9.05am and unless they have siblings in lower years should aim to arrive at school no earlier than 8.55am.
Gates / doors are closed at 9.05am - any pupil who arrives after this will need to enter the school building at main reception.
Registers for all classes will close at 9.15am. Any pupil who arrives after this time will be marked as late.
EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 finish school at 3.00pm.
Year 4 pupils finish at 3.10pm.
Year 5 and Year 6 pupils finish at 3.15pm.
Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.
