Appropriate Behaviour on our School Premises

22 May 2023 (by admin)

A reminder of our policy regarding Abusive or Threatening Behaviour on School Premises and the need to supervise children at the end of the school day for their safety.

We would remind all parents / carers of the need for appropriate behaviour and language on our school site.

There will be a zero tolerance of violence, threatening behaviour and disorderly conduct, including abuse in all forms, against school staff or other members of the school community (including incidents between other parents and carers).

The action the school will take when such incidents occur are set out in our Abusive or Threatening Behaviour on School Premises Policy which is available on our school web site under Information for Parents – School Policies.

We would also remind all parents of the need to use appropriate language on our school site and be mindful of the conversations they are having on mobile phones on the school site which could be overheard by either children or parents / carers.

Could we also please ask that children are appropriately supervised at the end of the school day.

Please do not allow children to use our school Social Zone or to ‘play’ on the ramps outside fire exit doors.

These doors need to be kept clear. If they are opened suddenly and young children are behind them there is the risk of a serious injury.
