We are very proud of our successes over the past years in the Tamworth Primary Schools cross country events and we are ready to go again this year and see if we can repeat this success.

Look out for details of after school practise sessions coming soon for any children who want to take part in the competitions.

The dates of the competitions this year are:

Tuesday 3rd October - Year 3 boys and girls competition

Thursday 12th October - Year 4 boys and girls competition

Tuesday 17th October -  Year 5 boys and girls competition

Thursday 26th October  - Year 6 boys and girls competition

All competitions take place after school (weather permitting) at The Rawlett School (parking at The Coton Centre).

Over this weekend you might want to take your child out for a run to get them into practise for the events (Junior Parkrun on Sunday mornings at 9.00am are a great way to start running - closest events are in Swadlincote, Bloxwich, Wednesfield and Nuneaton - visit https://www.parkrun.org.uk/ for more information).

Our girls football sessions for girls in Y4, Y5 and Y6 run by Premier Sports will start again next Wednesday after school until 4.15pm. Letters will go home with children today.

We are looking to put in place further after school sports clubs this term - details to follow.
