Grab your coat - Year 2 are going on a minibeast hunt!
This half term Year 2 pupils will be sweeping their nets in puddles and ponds and lifting up logs to see which creatures they can find. They will learn about bees, worms and butterflies and make food chains to see who eats who!
They will develop their scientific knowledge and skills by asking research questions and carrying out investigations.
On your belly, legs at the ready, it's time to wriggle and crawl!
Summer 1st half term - 2021
Cornerstones Imaginative Learning Project - The Scented Garden
Tiptoe through the tulips as your senses discover the blooming foliage and enchanting fragrances of flowers and herbs.
This half term Year 2 will explore the astounding world of the scented garden learning about the marvellous properties of plants, flowers and herbs.
They will learn to describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy.
They may even use what they learn to grow their own plants!
