Next Monday 20th May is the start of Walk to School Week.

This is always a week that we have great support for from pupils and parents, and hopefully this year it will be just as well supported!

All next week we would encourage all parents / carers to leave the car at home and for pupils to walk (or scoot, cycle or even jog / run to school!)

We will be highlighting the benefits of walking to school across the week on our web site and via social media.

We always like to see photos of pupils taking part in Walk to School Week so please feel free to send us photos of pupils walking to school that we can share on these platforms and also in assemblies - please email any photos of pupils walking to school next week to headteacher@millfield.staffs.sch.uk 

We will also be encouraging staff to walk to school next week so look out for them walking or running or cycling to Millfield! 

We also have the big advantage this Walk to School Week of a new canal path between the school and County Drive - thanks to Fazeley Town Council and the Canal and River Trust for funding and constructing this.

So next week - lets leave the car at home if we can and all Walk to School!
